The Digital Media Association and its member companies congratulate the artists, songwriters, and composers of the Class of 2023 Inductees into the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress. Each year, the National Recording Registry honors those creators and their works that have helped to shape the nation’s musical legacy. This year’s class of inductees reflects a unique and historic variety of recorded music, including “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee, the perennial Christmas favorite, “All I Want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey, the very first recording ever inducted from a video game, “Super Mario Bros. Theme” by Koji Kondo and albums Like A Virgin by Madonna, All Hail the Queen by Queen Latifah, Déjà vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and Very First Mariachi Recordings by Cuarteto Coculense.

The diversity of recordings from the Class of 2023 is sure to catch the attention of music fans both young and old from around the globe. Some might recognize their favorites from recent years.
