In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, we recognize and celebrate the musical contributions of the AAPI community. From singers and rappers, to DJs and producers, Asian American creators deserve recognition for their incredible contributions.
Open your favorite streaming service and discover new and rising AAPI artists like Anderson .Paak, Mitski, Raja Kumari, H.E.R and many others. Pandora, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, and Apple Music are all honoring AAPI Heritage Month and uplifting these invaluable voices through a variety of programming, playlists, and initiatives. At DiMA, we curated our own Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Playlist featuring some of our favorite songs and artists to celebrate and stand in solidarity with this rich music community. I live with two HUGE fans of “How Far I’ll Go” and am personally quite partial to Silk Sonic and H.E.R., but there’s phenomenal music from top to bottom on this playlist.
